If you are planning to stay at a hotel for an

extended stay. Even if you are traveling from place to place, but you
are planning to stay at the same hotel chain ask any special rates that
they can offer you.

Ask about special rates for business travelers. Many hotels have special rates for people traveling on business.

Instead of booking 2 separate rooms, find
out the rates if you book a suite. Remember the extra beds in a suite
are usually sofa beds, which could be less comfortable.

There are many places that offer student
discounts, especially are traveling internationally. You will need a
student card, usually with a picture ID. If you are traveling overseas
it is best to find out about an international student card. The
international student card gives excellent discounts on almost
everything.

Check with your credit card company to see if they can offer you any special deals or discounts.

last minute. There are some excellent internet sites that specialize in
last minute traveling.

great for searching the lowest rate. Don't be shy about asking if they
have a hotel that has a lower rate.
Advertised Prices -
If you find any advertised prices in
a newspaper, radio, internet etc. Ask about prices that you heard about
and find out what the conditions are to receive the advertised price.

Look for coupons on the internet,
local papers, tourist sites etc. Remember to read the small printcoupon
